About CT Werewolves
Within the hockey world, the CT Werewolves hockey organization has and maintains an outstanding reputation for player development, and overall enjoyment of the game. Werewolves teams have and will be known for being well coached, disciplined and above all, being the hardest working teams on the ice. It is paramount that we maintain and build upon this reputation.
Our mission is to develop and assist players to reach their highest potential, no matter what level that may be. Our focus will center on mentoring, developing and shaping the character of these fine young players. While winning has importance, and should be stressed, let’s remember why we are all here.

About
Coach Josh Manoian
I am native to Connecticut and have been involved in and now run the CT Werewolves. I started playing hockey at a very young age. When I was 10 years old, I played for the Springfield Pics. My Youth hockey career continued with the Pics until I played Junior A hockey. From there I went on to play DIII hockey at Nichols College and then transferred to CCSU. At CCSU I earned numerous awards including 1ST Team All SECHL (Super East College Hockey League), 1ST Team All ACHA (American Hockey Association), and 1st Team All Region ACHA.
My passion for coaching started right out of college. I coached numerous programs, including Conard High School, West Hartford and Central youth hockey programs. While coaching I also was hired by the New Jersey Titans to scout for the EHL. About 12 years ago I started coaching the CT Werewolves, and recently re-booted the program as administrator and head coach. The coaches that I had during my playing career left a positive imprint on who I am today. I want to do for the players what my coaches did for me. Being a positive influence on kids and making an impact in their lives is what coaching is all about. A coach’s worth isn’t found in their W/L record, it’s about their impact in the game, and more importantly, the impact in their players lives. During my 25-year coaching experience, I’ve taught my players self-leadership, fostering team collaboration, and achieving tangible results. I believe that true leadership starts with self-awareness, and is nurtured through empathy and strategic action. My approach is holistic, focusing not just on professional success, but on personal fulfillment and growth. I strive to create a fun place for all players to explore their potential and overcome obstacles with resilience. I will guide my players toward leading a life filled with confidence, clarity, and purpose. In addition, they will learn and develop strong fundamentals all while enjoying the game.
